Fake Email and Password Theft Alert

Your Akdeniz.edu.tr e-mail accounts may receive fake e-mails aimed at obtaining your passwords.

Do not open e-mails asking for certificate, account update, quota increase and similar information that you do not know from whom, and do not click on their links. Such a transaction may result in your account being stolen and your information being compromised.

Our Presidency never requests your account information and passwords in an e-mail environment.

When you see a fake e-mail or an abnormal situation regarding information systems, you should immediately send it to bimihbar@akdeniz.edu.tr.

All reported incidents are recorded, analyzed and evaluated by our Agency.
